Designed by Jean Prouvé in 1949 for the University of Paris, the Guéridon Table is one timeless piece of modern design. It has solid oak legs and metal rod connectors that are lacquered black; the tabletop is available in natural oak veneer (as shown above), dark oak veneer or white laminate with oak edge. Reproduced by Vitra.

Designed by Frederic Sofia in 2004 for Fermob, the French company known for its classic outdoor furniture, this bright apple green bar cart made from lightweight aluminum with a powder-coated polyester finish is "part of a range of furniture based on the classic steel Sénat armchair designed for the Jardin du Luxembourg in 1923;" its compact design includes a removable tray top, slots for bottles, and a compartment for bar accessories.
