Jasper Morrison, who is known for using simple and durable forms that remain functional and true to their materials, designed this übersleek electric toaster for Rowenta, Germany in 2004. This toaster has: motorized operation, brushed steel warming tray top, photo sensor browning control, single slot 2-slice capacity, touch sensitive controls stop/start, LED display and audible signals, soft eject crumb tray, and cord storage. Manufactured from polypropylene and stainless steel.

Designed by Jean Prouvé in 1934 and now reproduced by Vitra to exacting standards, the Standard Chair is one of the most collectible modern chairs.
